Itinerary

Rio de Janeiro / Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Rising above the top of the Corcovado, the Christ the Redeemer Statue is one of the Seven Modern Wonders of the World. Overlook this wonderful city from a platform located right below the 125-foot statue or hop on the cable car to the top of Pão de Açúcar and enjoy a different perspective of Rio and the monument itself. Stimulate your senses with Ipanema's and Copacabana's fabulous yet dynamic and famous beaches. If you are looking for a more chill kind of experience, head for the botanical garden that houses about 8,000 species of plants. Do you know to tune? Garota de Ipanema is the world-famous song. Bossa nova, its musical genre, is the result of a fusion between samba and jazz, which originated in Rio back in the 1950s. Speaking about food, the feijoada, a delicious stew made with black beans, pork, or beef and served with white rice and oranges is quite the meal.
You should know about Rio de Janeiro
Let us take a quick trip down memory lane! Rio de Janeiro was the first Portuguese-speaking South American city to host both the Olympic and Paralympic Summer Games back in 2016! Some of its neighborhoods have been featured in billboard films such as 1979’s James Bond, Moonraker, The Incredible Hulk, and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1. Being a city filled with rhythm and music almost around every corner, bossa nova was also originated here back in 1950 by fusing samba and jazz. If you are looking for a true Brazilian culinary experience, go ahead and have a feijoada; a traditional beef or pork dish cooked in a large clay pot served with rice, black beans.

Salvador Bahia / Salvador, Brazil

Located in the lower region of the city of Salvador, which also is the capital of Bahia State, Brazil; this port at the tip of the peninsula separates the Bay of All Saints from the Atlantic Ocean, which also serves as protection to the port itself. It began to operate way back in the colonial ages and, until now, it handles some of the largest commercial trades in the Americas. Originally, Salvador was the Portuguese's administrative headquarters in South America.
You should know about Salavador Bahia
A city filled with as many touristic attractions as it is of history. Some of the main spots you should visit on your stop here are the beaches in Salvador Bahía, Da Barra’s Lighthouse, and Peleourinho’s Historic Center with its streets surrounded by colorful houses.
