Attractions and activities

Mendoza is a city in the Cuyo region of western Argentina. The destination is best-known for producing 70% of Argentine wines. With about 1,200 wineries operating, some 100 of them are open to the public. Guests following the wine route can tour facilities and learn about the wine-making process, join a bike tour through the vineyards, or pay a visit for samples and tastings.

Sports are widely pursued in the region. The General San Martín Park offers hiking and bike trails, green areas, and a lake for canoeing. The Aconcagua Provincial Park provides stunning natural panoramas and visitors take to the trails for hiking and mountaineering.

Perfect for nature lovers and ecotourism, Mendoza’s medicinal waters are available at the Cacheuta thermal baths. A trip to the canyon of Atuel allows the adventurous to take a trip to Malargüe, or to simply try to capture in photographs all that the Argentinian landscape has to offer.
